Spending time relaxing on a yacht is a wonderful experience, a Skippered Yacht Charter with Taylor Made Escapes will become a lasting memory. Our Charters are all exclusive so that you are not sharing the yacht with others.

Our yachts are all Beneteau Oceanis design and setup for entertaining and ease of operation. Spend time with a loved one, family, extended family, or friends, we welcome children and have child sized life vests onboard.

Great memories are made on special occasions so book a Day Charter for a birthday celebration, anniversary or to ask your loved one to spend a lifetime with you, planning an onboard engagement can be fun!

We also host small group corporate sailing charters, company gatherings, taking clients out for a sail and Christmas parties, our yachts can pick up and drop off at various public wharves around Pittwater including Newport, Church Point and Careel Bay wharves.

Our skilled Team can supply ice buckets of chilled champagne, platter catering, celebration cakes, and flowers. Our bookings co-ordinator help you organise a seaplane arrival or departure from Rose Bay, recommend local accommodation, and help you make the day extra special.*

Enjoy a day on Pittwater sailing in clean waters with rugged shorelines, see the Barrenjoey Headland Seal colony, spot the dolphins and watch the seabirds hovering in the sky, anchor at quiet uncrowded bays with sandy beaches and fresh salt air.

Enjoy a refreshing swim, enjoy your favourite drink, sit back and watch the maritime world go by.

If you wish, your skipper will show you how to steer the yacht, help trim sails, and explain how the yacht can along by wind only. All Taylor Made Escapes Charters don’t have set itineraries, your skipper will discuss at the start and ask what you would like to do, e.g. swim, sail etc., or if you just want to relax your skipper can suggest points of interest, the best beaches and tell you stories and a bit of history about the area.

Think about food, drink & snack requirements, keep it simple, and bring picnic-style food e.g. seafood, cold meats, salads, cheese, and antipasto**. Pack your food in a small soft type esky with an ice brick or two, and don’t forget byo drinks.

Plates, cutlery, platters, glasses, ice buckets or cheese knives they are all onboard and ready to use.

To keep your food & drink cold each yacht has a fridge.

Make it even easier and preorder (for a fee) a platter from our range of Seafood, Cold Meats, Vegetarian or Cheese and antipasto Platters**, all freshly prepared.

Bring swimmers, a hat, sunglasses, comfy shoes and if sailing in cooler months a pullover or jacket. Each yacht has multiple awnings and a cover to protect from the sun and weather, zip on covers can be put on if it starts to rain, and we will keep you dry.

Don’t be put off if it looks like rain, it is still very comfortable onboard. If the weather looks unpleasant or unsafe i.e. strong winds, heavy rain or big seas we will talk to you prior to or early on the day of the booking to postpone till more favourable conditions.

The water at Palm Beach and around Pittwater is safe to swim in, we do not have a history of sharks or other nasties. The Western shore has several beaches including Resolute, Flint & Steel and Portuguese Beaches that can only be accessed by foot from Kur-ring-gai Chase National Park or by boat, all great spots to drop an anchor.

The yachts have snorkeling gear onboard and we can stop at various locations around Pittwater for snorkeling and swimming. Each yacht has fishing rods onboard or byo rod and don’t forget bait.
