Meeting Location
Our Beneteau Oceanis yachts are moored near Palm Beach Ferry Wharf.
Our address is Palm Beach Ferry Wharf, 1151 Barrenjoey Road, Palm Beach NSW 2108.
We will meet you at Palm Beach Ferry Wharf steps on the left side as you are walking out to the water. We will then take you in our tender to your yacht. Palm Beach Ferry Wharf Barrenjoey Road, Palm Beach.
Limited 5 minute unloading zone is available at the wharf
Meeting Time
Your time has been specifically allocated to you for transfer to your exclusive yacht and to complete a short safety induction. The boarding time is on your booking confirmation email. We will pick you up in our power boat from the steps at Ferry Wharf on the southern (Barrenjoey House) side.
Please arrive at the wharf 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
If you arrive late you will need to wait until other yachts are boarded and our tender and staff are available
Please contact us on 0418 371 042 if you are running late. Failure to be on time without sufficient notice may forfeit your experience with no refund.
Unfortunately, we cannot extend your experience if you arrive late.

How to Find Us By Car
Palm Beach is approximately 35 kilometres from the centre of Sydney. Please allow plenty of travelling and parking time as it can get busy, especially on a warm day.

Parking
Palm Beach is approximately 1.5 hours from Sydney’s CBD. Please allow plenty of travel and parking time on weekends and especially during the Summer.
Metered parking is available in the Pittwater Park South Car Park (to the left of the ferry wharf, opposite Barrenjoey House).
Free parking is available on Barrenjoey Road or Palm Beach Road (just past the two car parks and half-way up the hill on right).
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PARKING
There is NO parking in Pittwater Park North Carpark (to the right of the ferry wharf). This is permit parking for residents of the Western Shore only. If you park in this car park, the Council Rangers are vigilant and will fine you.
How to find us by Public Transport
The Transport NSW bus Route 199 from Manly Wharf to Palm Beach Ferry Wharf is a pleasant bus trip which takes just over an hour. If you are coming from the Central Coast, a Palm Beach ferry from Ettalong is a lovely picturesque 40 minute trip
Enjoying your skippered yacht charter experience
You have exclusive use of the yacht with no other guests onboard. Our yachts are set up for entertaining. The cockpit is a great place to sit and relax while having a drink or work on your tan on the foredeck. Swimming off the back of the yacht during stops is refreshing. All yachts have a swim access ladder for ease of getting back onboard.
What to bring:
• You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks
• Our catering can be provided at an additional charge, please see below for more details.
• We recommend suitable clothing for boating Please wear soft soled shoes, thongs or bare feet. No dark soled shoes, stilettos, or high heels are permitted onboard.
• You may like to consider bringing - sunglasses, hat, swimmers,
• It can get cool depending on time of year so bring a jacket or pullover.
• Bring along your favourite music, a Bluetooth speaker is on board for your use.
• Fishing bait if you would like to fish
On our boats you will find:
• Comfortable cockpit with pop up table
•Towels, Beach Towels & sun-screen
•All linen, pillows, doona and blankets
• A small kitchen with a gas stove, basic cooking equipment, plates, cups, cutlery & serviettes
• Serving platters, ramekins, cheese knives, wine/champagne glasses and ice bucket.
• Refrigerator with ice provided.
• Tea, coffee, sugar, UHT milk, cooking spray, salt & pepper
• Our staff will look after rubbish and empty bottles after you leave
• Bathroom with toilet
• Swim deck, swim ladder and outdoor shower
• Goggles, fins and snorkels, fishing rods
• Sun shelter over the cockpit to protect you from showers or the sun.
• Mobile reception is available in the area that our yachts are moored
• USB ports are available on board to charge your devices
• Please note- 240V power is not available on the yachts

If you prefer Taylor Made Escapes to do your catering for you, we offer fresh platters made by us for your enjoyment. Each platter is a generous meal for two guests

Please request if you would like a combination platter e.g. ½ seafood & ½ vegetarian
Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options are available upon request
Please order your platter at least 2 days before your Charter, payment can be via Credit Card or EFT Payment.

Add a 90 Minute Skippered Sail $250
Add a 90 minute sail on Pittwater to your Overnight Stay. We Skipper the yacht leaving you to enjoy the scenery, have a drink or two and not worry about the operation of the yacht. Our Skipper can even show you how to steer & trim the sails if you wish!

Safety & Wellbeing Notes
● Upon boarding, a comprehensive safety induction is given by our staff so you are made comfortable and familiar with features, safety equipment, kitchen/bathroom etc. We ask you to sign a form stating this induction has been carried out.
● Being on a yacht is a fantastic experience but please be aware of your surroundings. There is a risk of personal injury by things such as the boom above your head, open hatches on the foredeck and movement of the boat caused by wind and waves. Be aware that wash from other boats can cause sudden waves that rock the yacht’s momentum.
● If you leave the vessel to enter the water, you do so at your own risk, and you are responsible for your safety.
● You must obey any instruction given by your yacht Skipper.
● Only get on/off the yacht or tender once tied up and Skipper has advised it is safe to do so.
● Always use sunscreen (all yachts have SPF50 onboard for your use)
● The Staff may terminate your Charter immediately if your behaviour is inappropriate, display signs of heavy intoxication, be under the influence of an illegal substance, cause distress, damage, danger, annoyance to any guest or staff member, or you refuse to comply with instructions or orders of staff. No refund will be offered.
● You must inform us prior to your Charter if you have any food allergies or health conditions which may affect your safety.
● We take no responsibility for guests’ personal belongings while on the wharf, in the tender or on the yacht.
● All yachts have fire extinguishers, fire blanket and first aid kit onboard.
● If at any time you feel unsafe or unwell, please let your Skipper know so they can try to make you more comfortable.
● If you are prone to motion sickness, please take medication prior to Charter e.g. Travel Calm to help settle you, these should be taken at least 12 hours prior to arrival, always follow dose recommendations.
Cancellation & Penalty Policies
Weather
We want you to feel safe and comfortable while on an Overnight Stay, please read the following carefully.
● A yacht charter will still proceed if the weather is raining, overcast, scattered showers, cool or any other weather factor that is not making it unsafe to operate.
● Unsafe weather including high winds, heavy rain, storms and rough seas as determined by your Skipper, may require your yacht charter to be rescheduled. Our Skipper will determine if it is safe to proceed and may contact you prior to your Overnight Stay to raise a possibility of postponement. Postponements will be rescheduled at the earliest mutually convenient date.
● You will have one opportunity to reschedule if we postpone. Any cancellation or postponement of rescheduled Overnight Stay by you will result in forfeiture of full charter fee.
Cancellation and Postponement
● Any Charter cancellation or postponement is required to be in writing clearly outlining the reason, this can be emailed to bookings@taylormadeescapes.com.au
● If you cancel after payment, more than 14 days prior to the Charter date, we will refund 80% of the cost. ● If you cancel within 14 days of the Charter date, no refund is given.
● If you postpone a Charter more than 14 days prior, you can change it once only.
●A postponement between 7-14 days has a fee of $100 and the new date subject to availability.
● A Charter cannot be postponed within 7 days of Charter date unless by mutual agreement with Taylor Made Escapes under exceptional circumstances.
● Failure to arrive at the nominated location and board time or ‘no shows’ are deemed a cancellation and no refund will be given.
Penalty Charges
● Late arrivals incur a fee of $140 per hour for our Staff to wait for you. Failure to be at the wharf without notification after 15 minutes of agreed boarding time will incur this fee
● A $150.00 fee is applicable for any call out from yachts during overnight stays. This fee is exempt in the case of exceptional circumstances such as a weather or medical emergency as determined by Taylor Made Escapes Staff.
● Guests will be charged a replacement fee or repair fee for any damage or loss incurred by them during their stay. This includes, but is not limited to, seat cushions, dinghy, oars or lifejackets.
● A note about our toilet: A marine toilet is very sensitive and will block if anything other than pee, poo and paper is flushed down the toilet. PLEASE do not flush down the toilet items such as makeup cotton wool/sticks, large amounts of toilet paper, sanitary pads and tampons. As the toilets are serviced regularly, normal use will not cause them to block. A fee of $200 is payable if a toilet has been blocked because a foreign object has been put down it. If the toilet blocks, check instructions in the Guest Manual located in the navigation table will assist you if you encounter a simple issue.
