Pittwater: The perfect place to learn to sail

Learning how to sail in Sydney for adults can be daunting! Jumping into a race boat to learn the ropes is stressful compared to the cruising lifestyle that many dream of. They say the best learning environment is one you feel comfortable in, a luxury French yacht sailing on Pittwater is perfect.

When you hire a boat with Taylor Made Escapes, a professional sailor accompanies you! There’s no need to worry about something going wrong, there will always be someone guiding and teaching you. Over the course of 3 hours, we can show you the basics of sailing and the beauty of Broken Bay.

Our yachts are moored not far from Palm Beach ferry wharf, less than an hour from Sydney’s CBD. We greet you at the wharf and take you to one of our yachts, we sail to either Morning Bay or the Basin where we can stop for lunch or a swim and a refreshment, (we can organise one of our famous Seafood Platters otherwise you’re free to BYO!)

One of our famous platters!

Sailing is a very weather-dependent sport, so a few things to note; our yachts have engines on board! So if there isn’t a breath of wind we can still cruise the waterways! If the weather is dangerous then we will postpone to a suitable date, we want your first sailing experience to be as stress-free as possible.

As our name suggests, we can tailor a package to suit your needs. Feel free to reach out to us for anything extra special, otherwise you can book your experience through our online booking system.
